Turner's Cubes -- a typical lathe exercise.

I was thinking of making one 3D printed, but maybe the easiest is to print them separately and drop the smaller ones while printing the bigger ones...

Serious toys. Price by request? Hotas is so good? I abundantly enough old Saitek x52, when I played IL2-Sturmovik.

I've killed two X-52 stick/throttle combos over the years. I take my Aces High flying very seriously lol

This is a good model, but with their blue LEDs I was very tired. had to process them with sandpaper for a softer glow

So far, at the FabLab I mainly used Galaad which is a fully integrated CAD/CAM/CNC Drive program. It is really nice and affordable, but it is something on it's own, so if you want for example to prototype with 3D print before cutting it is not very convenient (format conversion, export / import and all the associated problems)
My objective is to do CAD/CAM with Fusion360 and drive the router with LinuxCNC. First is to get I get the right post-processor for Fusion360 up and running

Which router do you have?

It's 'Karla': a sturdy 60x40 portal router sourced from here...

It is a very rigid aluminum frame, portal supported by linear rails from CPC-Europa, ball screws are C7/P1 from TBI (which are good and still affordable)...

Cool Amedee, looks great! I especially like the proximity endstops. Looks extremly sturdy... PCB milling? Alu, wood?
As you know, I just built an MPCNC and yesterday I mounted all endstops (coincidence?) but just "normal" switch-endstops in NC configuration. I use RAMPS and Marlin to control the CNC, makes it easy as I know marlin allready a bit .

Also here, at the same point. I am not sure if I want to start with F360 as a CNC application (as it's rather complex to setup and then the post-processor, luckily there is one for marlin...). I am currently looking at Estlcam (http://www.estlcam.com/), it's pretty cost effective I would say, but I have not yet tried it.

Interesting, most CNC's I have looked at uses US parts and sourcing them in EU is expensive. I will take a closer look at this one

Hi nilrog, also, look at http://www.vicious1.com/ MPCNC. He has an international version also, which is what I printed. I were able to source it (mostly) in Switzerland / China as it uses metal conduit as the main structure, the rest of the structure is 3d printed! It's more like a budget / hobby CNC, but for me it's enough as I would like to do some light woodworking, PCB milling, laser cutting and drag knifing (maybe 3d printing). I spent roughly 350€ so far... but I had a few things allready.
