Weird brown stuff dropping on prints

Hi everyone

I noticed some strange brown drops in my printed parts.
I found that that brown stuff is dropping from the heat block (as you can see from the picture) on to the 3d part.

For context I've recently change the entire hotend (new nozzle, heater block, cartridge, thermistor, heat sink and PTFE tube).
I did not found any damaged (or burned) parts. I've been printing with transparent filament at 205°C (well inside the recommended temperature) and I've never seen that issue before.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Check the nozzle/heater area. It looks like you're leaking and that's burnt material plopping/dribbling off

Part of your replacement process should have been to heat up the hot end and then tighten everything up

Hi LePaul,

Thanks for your input, I followed your advise and will try again.

Is that burnt material actually filament ? Because cheched everything again and I found no damage parts...

Thanks

I suspect it might be? From a small leak

Hi,

I reassemble everything and tighten the screws once more and I did not found anything since.

I still don't know what that stuff was. What ever it works now.

Thanks for your help
