First layers not printing properly

Hia,

so my printer (CR10) has been acting strange getting the first layer down, I noticed on my last print the quality got worse towards the top, so I'm not sure if its something that happened during the last print.
Today I have tried re - levelling the bed, cleaning and reapplying glue to the bed, and cleaning the little cog that turns the extruder, but my first layer is still coming out in strips rather than a full layer, could any one tell me why this is?
